I got this to brighten my ground glass as people do. After I installed it, I put it in a padded case, then in my backpack and went out to take a photo. By the time I unloaded my camera the fresnel screen was literally littered with scratches. Just by hiking with it in a padded case! After using my focusing loupe the scratches are so bad I took it off the camera. I attached a photo from being in the field I hope you can see the scratches
