The green VB99 Mini V-Mount Battery from SmallRig is an ultracompact, lightweight 99Wh battery that can support up to a 14A draw at a nominal 14.8V. This travel-friendly battery is suitable for powering handheld cameras, drones, and gimbals.

The VB99 provides multiple accessory ports, including one 14.8V D-Tap output, one 8 VDC barrel output, one 12 VDC barrel output, one USB-C output, and one USB-A output for powering various accessories, cameras, or mobile devices. The battery can be charged using a standard V-mount charger, an optional D-Tap charger, or via the USB-C input/output with a 65W PD fast charger. A built-in OLED display shows the remaining battery capacity and status.

The green VB99 Mini V-Mount Battery from SmallRig is an ultracompact, lightweight 99Wh battery that can support up to a 14A draw at a nominal 14.8V. This travel-friendly battery is suitable for powering handheld cameras, drones, and gimbals.

The VB99 provides multiple accessory ports, including one 14.8V D-Tap output, one 8 VDC barrel output, one 12 VDC barrel output, one USB-C output, and one USB-A output for powering various accessories, cameras, or mobile devices. The battery can be charged using a standard V-mount charger, an optional D-Tap charger, or via the USB-C input/output with a 65W PD fast charger. Great battery. Always reliable! Love being able to see the charging information on the built in screen. Great size and shape. My only complaint is the flappy port covers. They can get in the way a little but not a big deal.

Product was delivered on time and correctly. The battery had 28% charge when it arrived. I used a 140w Anker USB-C charger and a regular v-mount battery charger (not at the same time). Multiple USB-C cables were also used. Plugged in the USB-C and the code OT-UT began flashing. I held down the power button for a few seconds, the firmware number, cycles and watts screen came on, but a few seconds later the OT-UT screen began flashing again. I then tapped the power button a few times, the same thing happened. I discharged the battery and attempted to charge again. The same thing happened. I left on the charger for a few hours. Nothing changed. I needed if for this week and now I have an expensive brick.

Could I power the my camera via usb-c while also powering my monitor through the barrel out? Or will this cause issues if using at the same time

As long as your camera and monitor support each power output you would be able to do so using the SmallRig VB99 Mini V-Mount Battery.

The SmallRig VB99 Mini V-Mount Battery (99Wh, Green) should power the camera and display for at least 4-6 hours, depending on the brightness of the Hollyland Pyro display.

What DC Dummy battery would work for LP-E17 and to power on a Canon R8? How long will this power a Canon R8 recording 4k video?

A dummy battery to use with the SmallRig VB99 Mini V-Mount Battery (99Wh, Green) and the Canon EOS R8 Mirrorless Camera would be the Bescor LP-E17 Dummy Battery with USB Type-C Connector Kit with Battery and Charger, BH #BELPE17USBCP. Battery run time will depend on your usage and environment, but we would expect around a 7-8 hour run time with only the camera attached.

The SmallRig VB99 Mini V-Mount Battery will last approximately 1 hour 39 minutes on the SmallRig RC 60C RGB LED Video Light. Whereas, it will last about 59 minutes on the SmallRig RC 100B Bi-Color LED Monolight.

The SmallRig VB99 mini Battery Kit with Folding V-Lock Plate (6800mAh, V-Mount) does not directly connect to the FeelWorld 10.1" 4K Ultra-Bright Touchscreen Monitor with Loop-Through HDMI & 3G-SDI. You would need an adapter like the Dynacore V-Mount to L-Series/NP-F Battery Adapter (7.4V) (https://bhpho.to/3TUa2UU).
