This Pliant Technologies SmartBoom Lite Single-Ear Electret Headset with 4-Pin XLR Female Connector provides enhanced audio isolation for clear communication in noisy and loud environments. Featuring a swivel earcup with a supra-aural (on-ear) design for a comfortable fit, the single-ear design allows you to maintain awareness of your surroundings in one ear, while hearing clear communication shielded from environmental noise in the other. The microphone sits at the end of an 8.5" boom, which also acts as an off / on switch, as the hypercardioid microphone is turned off when the boom is raised and turned on when it is lowered to speaking position, freeing you from having to fidget with controls or find switches when moments count. The ambidextrous design allows you to wear it on the left or right, while the soft ear cup and adjustable head pad make for comfortable wearing. The replaceable cable makes it simple to detach from your radio pack if necessary and economical to replace a damaged cable if necessary.
