Easily transition from run-and-gun interviews to mic-mounted podcast recording with the upgraded Comica Audio VM40 Wireless Shotgun Microphone System. The system has a familiar configuration to its predecessor, including a shotgun microphone transmitter and a clip-on receiver. The transmitter can be used in both wired and wireless configurations and features a 3.5mm TRS/TRRS auto-recognition output and USB-C port for both analog and digital recording. Displays on both units allow you to monitor your connection status, and its capable of transmitting from up to 656' away. Included with the system are cables to maintain compatibility with mobile devices, computers, and audio recorders.
Supercardiod Shotgun Microphone Transmitter
- Featuring 2.4 GHz wireless frequency and a supercardioid directional pickup pattern, the transmitter microphone is capable of capturing sound from your talent and reduces environmental noise.
- A 48 kHz sampling rate with both 24-bit depth and 32-bit depth float recording achieve high-quality audio with lossless audio adjustment.
Clip-On Receiver
The receiver unit features a built-in back clip capable of mounting to your camera's cold shoe, IPS display, USB-C output port, 3.5mm output, and 3.5mm headphone output to monitor your audio quality in real time. The USB-C port allows you to record digital audio or recharge the receiver's built-in battery, which can run for 8 hours at a time. Onboard controls toggle between mono, stereo, and safety recording modes as well as the de-noise function.

Wired and Wireless Operating Modes
- Digital USB-C and analog 3.5mm ports on the transmitter allow you to plug it directly into your DSLR/mirrorless camera, audio recorder, or mobile device using the included adapter cables for wired sound recording.
- The microphone automatically turns on and off when connecting and disconnecting the output device in wired mode.
- Wireless communication to the receiver can span 656' via line-of-sight transmission with less than 20 ms latency.
- The transmitter's internal battery can last for up to 10 hours in wireless mode and up to 32 hours when connected via USB-C to your computer or mobile device.
Multiple Mounting Modes
Included with the system are multiple transmitter mounting options. A shockmount with cold shoe foot can mount the microphone to the top of your camera for gimbal-mounted applications. A 3/8"-16 to 5/8" receiver adapter attaches to a boom pole for podcast or interview recording.
Simultaneous Charging, Included Accessories
Both the receiver and the transmitter can be charged while in use for longer battery life. Simply plug the included 2-in-1 charging cable into their USB-C ports. The other end of the cable features another USB-C port with a USB-A adapter attached for inserting into your recording device of choice or portable battery pack. Other included cables like the 3.5mm TRS and 3.5mm TRRS allow for further device compatibility.
