The system has a familiar configuration to its predecessor, including a shotgun microphone transmitter and a clip-on receiver. The transmitter can be used in both wired and wireless configurations and features a 3.5mm TRS/TRRS auto-recognition output and USB-C port for both analog and digital recording. Displays on both units allow you to monitor your connection status, and its capable of transmitting from up to 656' away. Included with the system are cables to maintain compatibility with mobile devices, computers, and audio recorders.

The Comica Audio VM40 Super Cardioid Wireless Shotgun Microphone (2.4 GHz) does not have a headphone output on the mic; there is only one on the receiver.
