I have both the fx3 and the fx6 - pairing this with the fx3 on a gimbal made such a difference to my footage. I used the variable magnetic nd by small rig and paired it with a ¼ black mist. I like the slot to add 4x5.65 filter but I haven’t tried it yet.

Great clamp on matte box. Only works on lenses that have some kind of ridge to grip, but on lenses it does work on it works great. I use it mostly with a sigma 24-70 EF, but it worked well on a canon Ef 70-200, a canon EF 85mm 1.4, and I even tried it on an RF sirui 1.33 anamorphic and it worked fine. I also bought the smallrig swing away rod mount, and it works great with that for lenses that don’t have enough grip. I use that combo with the dzofilm vespid’s and it works great. Also got the ND filter, does what it says it will, and is pretty consistent in color, but could get difficult pairing footage shot without it. All in all 5 stars for the kit!

A filter wouldn't be needed. The SmallRig Adjustable Clamp-On LITE Matte Box clamps onto lenses with an outer diameter of 67-82mm.

No, the SmallRig Adjustable Clamp-On LITE Matte Box does not accommodate flags on the sides.
