There are many reasons to use it, and everybody's film processing reality is different. For me, this is the perfect way to wash film in a non-friendly kitchen's faucet. The adaptor to the film washer doesn't fit properly, therefore that's out of the picture. With this column, I can place it in a 1, 2 or 3-reel and have enough water circulating for 10 minutes (changing water once or twice). You can also put the plastic lead from the canister to open up the water flow.
