To help improve grip strength and overall stability, Burris built this version with a bridge that opens the middle of the optic so your fingers can wrap around the tubes. Dual hinges support the front and rear of the tubes and keep the barrels parallel and aligned. The optical tubes are nitrogen-filled and O-ring sealed to be watertight and resistant to internal fogging when moving through extreme temperature changes. The lightweight and durable aluminum alloy chassis is wrapped in a protective slip-resistant rubber armoring with textured palm pads for additional grip strength, especially in cold and wet weather.
