If you are trying to use this Plugable Thunderbolt 4 Quad Video Docking Station with Thunderbolt connection to an M4 Mini, and trying to connect to a monitor with HDMI or Thunderbolt input, you can do that without the need for any adapter cables. This docking station has two HDMI ports as well as three Thunderbolt ports, which you can use to output video to a display.

MANUFACTURER ANSWER: To the best of our knowledge, a 2019 Apple MacBook Pro laptop with an Intel processor is compatible with the Plugable TBT-6950PD docking station.
*** Important note, an Intel Mac must have macOS 11 Big Sur or a newer macOS version (such as macOS 12 Monterey, macOS 13 Ventura, macOS 14 Sonoma, or macOS 15 Sequoia) installed in order to be compatible with Thunderbolt 4/USB4 products, such as the TBT-6950PD. Earlier versions of macOS do NOT support Thunderbolt 4 or USB4. ***
