Quality case. I'm putting a Sony a7riv with a Sony 70-200mm GM II in it, and it's a tight fit. I have to turn it upside-down and shake to get them out. I think it's the lens hood that's causing the tightness.

Using with Z5 and Z50 II with 70-200 4VR and 300 4D. These combos fit without extending the bag, even with 1.4 TC. The workmanship appears even better than a Lowepro holster I’ve been using since 2009, wow! The item description says it’s for DSLRs, but my D700 does not fit; maybe a D3xxx? And it arrived a day early -thank you B&H!

Will this bag hold a Nikon Z8 WITH 160-600mm lens with lens hood reversed (or extended)?

The Lowepro ProTactic TLZ 75 Slim AW III (Black, 4.5L) would not be able to support Nikon NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR Lens (Nikon Z), B&H # NIZ18060056, attached to the Nikon Z8 Mirrorless Camera (B&H # NIZ8). The Ruggard Alpine 600 Lens Backpack for DSLR and 600/800mm Lens (B&H # RULBB1600B) would be better suited.

What are the internal dimensions at the bottom of the bag where the lens hood sits?

The Lowepro ProTactic TLZ 75 Slim AW III has overall internal dimensions of approximately 14.57 x 6.3 x 5.51 inches (37 x 16 x 14 cm) and the dedicated camera compartment measures about 11.42 x 5.51 x 4.13 inches (29 x 14 x 10.49 cm) where a lens hood would sit at the bottom.

No, the Lowepro ProTactic TLZ 75 Slim AW III (Black, 4.5L) would be slightly too small for the Nikon D500 with the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/5.6E PF ED VR Lens attached. For this camera and lens combination, a larger holster, like the Think Tank Photo V3 Digital Holster 150 (XX Large), B&H # THDH150V3, would be more ideal.
