The cooling system is powered via USB-C 5V power input and the included cable, and it can utilize power from a separately available SmallRig V-mount battery or plate. In extreme temperatures up to 104°F, the system can assist the camera operation up to 18 minutes before shutdown is required. The fan operates with a near-silent noise output and features built-in protection from overheating, short-circuiting, and overvoltage situations.
