SmallRig 4-Channel L-Series Battery Charger Overview

The L-Series/NP-F 4-Channel Camera Battery Charger from SmallRig features four integrated battery charging slots that support Sony and third-party NP-F970, NP-F770, NP-F570, and NP-F550 batteries. The charger is powered using a USB-C PD input that provides fast 100W power input to quickly charge all four of your batteries simultaneously, or they will charge sequentially with a lower-wattage power source.

The OLED display provides real-time status of your batteries, including voltages, model information, current, temperature, and more. There are multiple built-in short-circuit and overcurrent protections to keep your gear safe.

NOTE: If the power source is under 80W, the batteries will charge sequentially (one at a time) and not simultaneously.

Works great - and IS a simultaneous charger

I got this to fast charge our NP-F batteries. After reading reviews I went with the Anker Prime 110W wall charger to power it. With that charger, it absolutely does charge all 4 batteries at the same time. A previous reviewer stated they should fix the description. It does state its a simultaneous charger, and charges sequentially if there isn't enough power to it. So buy a good power source. It works great, one thing that Smallrig certainly overlooked (and my only gripe) is that the battery slot numbers are labeled underneath the batteries. So when the charge indicates Battery 1 is charged, you can't tell which that is. I simply added numbers with a label maker to an area on the pad that the battery doesn't cover.

The speed of charging using the SmallRig L-Series/NP-F 4-Channel Camera Battery Charger would depend on the capacity and number of batteries charged as well as the USB-C plug used with the charger. If using the max 100W USB-C plug along with a batteries such as the SmallRig L-Series/NP-F970 USB-C Rechargeable Camera Battery (Orange), BH #SM4576, they would fully charge in approximately 3.5-4 hours.
