I use the A2 on location for portraits and as a rim/fill light. The ease of use is AMAZING! So glad I’ve switched back to ProFoto. When you try to save money and buy off brand or cheap lighting, it usually costs more in the long run.

I have used Profoto lighting and modifiers in my studio for years and the brand has always been reliable so I decided to stick with the brand for a super compact location kit. I've read that the A2 will not overpower the sun. There's more to that story. At full power, if you shoot the unit with the installed diffuser (or better yet, the Fresnel lens to get a boost in power), you can underexpose the sky by 1-2 stops and still get a properly exposed subject.
