I use the A2 on location for portraits and as a rim/fill light. The ease of use is AMAZING! So glad I’ve switched back to ProFoto. When you try to save money and buy off brand or cheap lighting, it usually costs more in the long run.

With the Clic stand adapter detached, this light will fit in the same spot as a lens in your camera bag. That's amazing! I have used Profoto lighting and modifiers in my studio for years and the brand has always been reliable so I decided to stick with the brand for a super compact location kit. I've read that the A2 will not overpower the sun. There's more to that story. At full power, if you shoot the unit with the installed diffuser (or better yet, the Fresnel lens to get a boost in power), you can underexpose the sky by 1-2 stops and still get a properly exposed subject.

What is the difference between the physical size and power of the Profoto A2 and the Godox AD100pro ?

Both the Profoto a 2 & the Godox ad 100 are 100ws. They both have a continuous light. The Profoto has service in the USA. The Profoto is H: 3.1 x W: 3.1 x L: 5.0" / H: 7.9 x W: 7.9 x L: 12.6 cm The Godox ad100 is H 3.0" W3.0" L43/4 Both lights have built in receivers.

Yes the Profoto Clic light modifiers that normally work on the A1 and the A1X can also work on the Profoto A2.

No, the Profoto A2 Monolight can not be triggered directly by the Fujifilm GFX100S II. You must use a compatible Profoto remote such as the Profoto Connect Pro Remote for FUJIFILM or the Profoto Connect Wireless Transmitter for FUJIFILM.
