Worst Zippers I’ve Ever Seen

I have been shooting and filming for the last 15 years. I have taken pelicans, lowepros, peak design, manfrotto bags / cases around the entire world. I have used bags in sand, sleet, snow, rain and high winds. Never in my entire life would I think Pelican would make such a backwards and terrible product as this. The zippers are hot trash garbage; I have never once been able to open them fluidly regardless of what is packed down in them. The material on the outside immediately upon contact with anything becomes stained. When creatives buy Pelican gear we expect the highest quality. Only good thing about this bag was the price. It was listed at over 50% off, now I know why. Jokes on me. Never use this bag.

Too big for a carry-on, so it is NOT a carry-on!

Limit is 22x14x9. This is 22x14x10. If you fly Frontier their gate agents get $20 for every bag they find that are oversized so they are very picky about ANYTHING over the legal size. Pelican, how could you blow this one so easily?

How is this a 22" carry on when the exterior height is listed as 23.6"?

If you are measuring from the very top of the top handle to the bottom of a wheel, the Pelican AEGIS Carry-On Rolling Hybrid Duffel (Charcoal, 22") is little over 23". If you are not including the top handle in the measurement, it is 22".

Can this case fit Nikon 600mm/4 TC or 400mm/2.8 TC? thanks!

The Pelican AEGIS 22" Carry-On Rolling Hybrid Duffel will fit the Nikon 600mm f4 TC Z-mount lens or the Nikon 400mm f2.8 TC lens. However, there are no dividers or foam inside this case to keep the lenses in place.

How does this compare this with the 1510?, looking at interior dimensions, but this only lists volume, which the 1510 specs don't.

The Pelican AEGIS 22" Carry-On Rolling Hybrid Duffel has interior dimensions of 20 x 13 x 6.5" / 50.8 x 33.02 x 16.51 cm The Pelican 1510 Protector Carry-On Case with Trekpak Divider System lists their interior dimensions as 19.75 x 11 x 7.6" / 50.17 x 27.9 x 19.3 cm

Can it fit a Nikon Z600f4TC and a Sony 400f2.8 with respective hoods at the same time? I have dividers.

The Pelican AEGIS 22" Carry-On Rolling Hybrid Duffel (Black) will not fit a Sony FE 400mm f/2.8 GM OSS Lens and Nikon NIKKOR Z 600mm f/4 TC VR S Lens (Nikon Z) with their lens hoods on.
