General Features
Next Generation Speed
Incorporating a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C interface, this reader offers speeds suitable for professional photographers and videographers. Complete All-Around Protection
Constructed out of anodized aluminum, this reader takes advantage of stronger materials to offer rugged protection and to extend its lifetime. In addition, this reader also provides safe internal storage for one CFexpress card and comes with a rubber end cover for protection against bumps, impact, water damage, dust, and other forms of debris.
Compact and Travel Friendly
Measuring 3" long and weighing less than 1/4 pound, the reader provides convenient, hassle-free portability. Bring it with you wherever you go and safely store it in a backpack, carrying bag, laptop case, and much more. Whether you are in the middle of a vast open desert, a tropical rainforest, or even the frozen tundra, the reader's compact size allows you to access your files virtually anywhere and anytime, while taking up minimal space.
Plug-and-Play
Access your files quickly. No drivers or external power are required - simply plug the reader into a USB Type-A or USB Type-C port on your computer (separate cables included) and start viewing your photos and videos. The reader is also backwards compatible with USB 3.0, 2.0, and 1.1 ports, but will transfer data at slower rates.

Delkin Devices Power CFexpress Type B 4.0 Reviews

Great Memory Cards

I ordered these memory cards because the I currently had were smaller memory wise and I am going to be going on a long vacation and I felt I needed a larger capacity memory for the trip. I previously used this brand and I have been happy with the quality and reliability of the cards. These are now the 4.0 version and so I thought this was a great time to upgrade. Happy with the cards so far and have no regrets in making this purchase. I would recommend this product to others.

Better than SD for Video and Large Pics

I just recently got my first mirrorless capable of holding a CF card. Using the CF for RAW and video and using the SD for jpeg backup. A bit nervous at first because I didn't recognize this brand name. But it seemed to be well reviewed. And after a month of ownership, absolutely no issues. Actually, it did seem to get hung a bit on something coming in and out the camera at first. But fine now.

The Delkin Devices 512GB POWER 4.0 CFexpress Type B Memory Card with Card Reader (B&H# DEDCFX4P512R) comes with the Delkin Devices 512GB POWER 4.0 CFexpress Type B Memory Card (B&H# DEDCFX4P512) and the Delkin Devices USB 3.2 CFexpress Memory Card Reader (B&H# DEDDREADER54). When used (e.g. in a camera) for recording photo or video files, barring any sort of bottleneck elsewhere in the line of components moving the data, the card will allow for up to a maximum of 3,240MB/s of data to be recorded for a brief period. Having said that, when recording such data for an extended period (e.g. shooting long bursts of photos or video) the minimum sustained such speed that can be guaranteed is much lower due to the extreme data volume and the limitations of the technology. In the case of the card in this kit, the minimum sustained write speed is 820MB/s.

Planning on an Antarctica trip next year. Will these cards work under those harsh weather extremes?
Asked by: George
I have been to Antarctica and the Artic regions during their respective summer periods. Most of the time in Antarctica, it was in the mid-thirties. In the Artic (Svalbard region) it was even warmer, low to mid forties. I over-dressed at first, but it was no worse than a Michigan winter. Camera and cards worked well for thousands of shots.

This card has higher sustained write compared to all older Black card gens. why would anyone buy older gen Black cards overthis?
Asked by: Andrew
There is no reason to buy a slower Delkin card from the Black line over the Delkin Devices 1TB POWER 4.0 CFexpress Type B Memory Card. For this reason, many of the older Delkin Black cards are being discounted and/or discontinued.
