Think Tank Photo Roller Derby V2 Reviews

It is Well Built

I have yet to use the Think Tank in an airport, but I have given it a thorough inspection. Everything in the online description is accurate. In addition, the seams, stitching, and material appears to be top quality. The wheels look to be strong and should withstand many airport miles. I bought this to replace a great backpack, which was just too heavy for me to lug around airports. I'm "vintage." This roller will be a wonderful relief when negotiating airports.

Does not stop rolling

Love the suitcase, storage, and protection. However, the suitcase does not stop rolling. I contacted think tank to which I was told by Dave, a product specialist, “The suitcase is designed to get you to the spot and either be laid flat, or to put something down in front of the bag to ensure it doesn't roll away.” On a wedding day, no one likes to sit and watch their suitcase for an extra 10-15 seconds to make sure their bag doesn’t roll away, to have to lay it flat, or to always have something to stop it from rolling. That’s the only flaw I have found with the bag, however, it is an inconvenience.

Many international airlines have a size restrictions of 55cm. Can you push the handle down to get to this length?
Asked by: Jan
The Think Tank Photo Airport Roller Derby V2 (Black, 29L) is 55.9 cm tall, and it cannot be adjusted to be smaller. It is best, as all airlines are different, to ask the one you are traveling on what their specific restrictions are for carry-on size.

Do the exterior dimensions of 22"x14"x9" include the handles at the top and side of the bag and also the rollers? Thank you!
Asked by: Beth
The Think Tank Photo Airport Roller Derby V2 29L is 22.5x14.9.5 when measuring the wheels and handles. However, the handle can be pushed down and there's some give overall so this can still fit as a carry-on with most airlines.
