question

Why is the Domke F-802 Reporter's Satchel Shoulder Bag more expesnive in the Olive Drab version than the other two (sand and black) when these are made of the same materials? B&H # DOF802O MFR # 701-82D
Asked by: Anonymous
Don't know, Maybe it is a low-production-run color, where most people get the other colors. Anyway, it is a fantastic bag, and I use it every day to the office. Lots of pockets and compartmets and a good grip in the shoulder strap. I use another Domke bag for my camera gear, and it is the same concepts that are applied in both bags. Good stuff.

question

Are dividers for the inner compartment available, ie to turn it into a real camera bag?
Asked by: Lew
No... please consider the Domke F-803 instead which is larger and has dividers in the main compartment.

Internal dimensions on this bag are 14.5 x 3.0 x 12.0 (36.8 x 7.6 x 30.5 cm), which should be sufficient to fit.

question

What's the difference between the f-802 and the f-803?
Asked by: Julio G.
The F-802 is quite a bit larger than the F-803. The front pockets are bigger, and the 802 will take a 15 laptop, compared to only a 13 max in the 803.The 802 has no internal padded compartments, whereas the 803 has a single square tall compartment. the 802 also has a separate front divider between the front pockets and the main compartment.I use my F-802 for my 15 macbook pro, and an iPad Air II, + charger, cables, etc. The F-803 is for m4/3 mirrorless camera(s), and a few small primes

question

can i put in this bag 13 laptop?
Asked by: Stav C.
Yes. There's plenty of room for a 13 laptop. I even managed to squeeze in a 15 laptop on occasion. It's tight, and you can barely put anything else in there thicker than a pad of paper, but it's doable. No problem for your 13 laptop! It's rugged too. I've had mine for over 20 years and it's still going strong. I was actually thinking of picking up another one for more formal occasions. :)
