Worst focus assist maybe ever

I picked this up to replace my OSEE T5 that shattered internally and it only needed to be good at one thing - focus peaking. Sony's focus assist works great, but the screen is so small that I simply can't see it well enough anymore. M+C control app does not have any focus assist tools, and Monitor+'s resolution is too low for confidence. This monitor's focus assist tool is useless. With all three monitors running, it was completely missing sharp hard lines on the test chart. The camera monitor showed obvious lines and I could confidently rack focus on my T1.4 lens between subjects. The monitor app showed a couple but inconclusive. This monitor showed NOTHING inside the lines, but just the outline of the entire chart. Missed all of the test lines on the chart and did not resolve any useable information. Returned immediately. The screen protector didn't even come off.

A Completely Different Experience Compared to My Ninja V

I own an Atomos Ninja V and still use it for more demanding setups where recording capabilities are important. But for everyday handheld shooting, this monitor delivers a completely different experience. It’s incredibly lightweight and compact, making the whole camera setup much easier to handle. The display is excellent—bright, sharp, and with great colors. Because of its size and weight, I actually enjoy using it much more than the Ninja V for run-and-gun shooting. The only thing missing is a tempered glass screen protector and a hard case. Since this monitor is clearly designed to be portable, including those accessories would make it nearly perfect. I had to buy both separately.
