This Godox AD300Pro Outdoor Flash with Octagonal Softbox & Grid Kit from B&H provides a compact and convenient flash system. The kit includes an AD300Pro flash, a charger, a carry bag, a 24" FastBox octagonal softbox with adapter, and a grid.

Godox AD300Pro Outdoor Flash

With impressive performance and freedom from the AC outlet, the AD300Pro Outdoor Flash from Godox is a great asset on location or in the studio. With its monolight form factor and weight of just 2.8 lb, the flash is ready to travel. Its lithium-ion battery will give you up to 300 full power flashes with recycle times from 0.01 to 1.5 seconds with a 9-stop power range and high-speed sync times as short as 1/8000 second. It additionally has action-stopping flash durations from 1/220 to 1/10200 seconds.

It was clever of Godox to employ an LED modeling light for low drain on the battery but this one is variable from 3000 to 6000K in 10 steps, making it definitely usable for video. As if all of this isn't enough the AD300Pro has a built-in 32-channel receiver with 5 groups for wireless control with a separately-purchased transmitter. The flash comes with a reflector, battery, charger, and a carry bag.

Angler FastBox Octagonal Softbox (24")

The FastBox Octagonal Softbox from Angler is a 24" octagonal softbox designed to set up and collapse in a fraction of the time it takes to set up a standard softbox. With a single motion, it expands to snap and lock into a classic octagonal shape, favored by fashion and portrait photographers for even lighting and round catchlights in your subject's eyes. The silver interior amplifies the output from an on-camera flash, and the inner and outer diffusers create an even beam without hot spots. The FastBox has an adjustable 120° angle and features a twist lock stand adapter that can be attached to any standard 5/8" stud.

The separately available adapter rings allow the mount to be attached to on-camera-type flash units and Profoto-A mount or Godox V1 mount compatible lights.

Angler FB-G24 Fabric Grid for FastBox FB-24K Octagonal Softbox (24")

Use this FB-G24 Fabric Grid on your Angler 24" FastBox FB-24K Octagonal Softbox to narrow the beam angle of the softbox light output. It also controls light spill and directionality while retaining a soft, diffused quality of light. Constructed from lightweight polyester, it attaches quickly and easily to the front of the softbox via touch-fastening strips and conveniently folds flat for travel and storage.

The grid is specifically designed for fast and easy installation onto Angler's FB-24K FastBox 24" Octagonal softbox. The grid is ideal for portraits, fashion, and dramatic shots, where directional light is desired.
Shapes the Light
The grid narrows the beam and controls light spill without compromising the soft and diffuse quality of your FastBox. For extra directionality, add the optional honeycomb grid included in Angler's FB-24K kit (sold separately). You'll be able to direct your light at a specific spot and add some mystery and drama to your exposure.
Easy to Install
The grid easily attaches to the touch-connect strips on the FastBox and ensures modifying your light won't interrupt your shoot. The grid installs and removes in seconds so you can shape your light or add a dramatic effect without disrupting your workflow.

The G1 FastBox Adapter from Angler attaches your Godox AD300Pro and AD400 Pro series flash to the Angler FastBox to enable speedy and flexible lighting setups. The adapter locks into the FastBox with a simple twist and provides a firm and secure hold using Godox's bayonet mount.

I had long considered replacing my 20-year-old monolights, with their trip-hazard cords and analog controls. I'm glad I waited. This Godox unit is a much-appreciated upgrade. They're remarkable compact and easy to carry in their small zipper case, powerful and easy to use with with optional control unit. I do a lot of step-and-repeat work, and it's such a relief not to worry about finding a convenient outlet on-site and taping down the power cords. I was concerned about battery life, but did a whole evening's event and didn't come close to running out the battery. Bravo, Godox!

You need to use Godox S2 Speedlite Bracket for Bowens BH #GOS2 with any Softbox with a Bowens mount will fit.
