ZWO ZWO-CAA-M54 Reviews

Disappointed. Lack of adapters, no spacers included. Useless until adapters are found.

Frustrating when the CAA is shipped half way around the world for $350 USD plus tariffs. four (4) weeks shipping. Only to discover you can't install and use the CAA because my SvBony 550, 122mm with the .8x flattner doesn't have the required M63 adapter that fits the lens scope side of the CAA. 1. On the lens scope side no 63mm adapter supplied. 2. On the camera side I lack spacers to replace the 16.5mm of the CAA. 3. Can't achieve the 55mm back focus length because of a lack of spacers. 4. Disappointed I now have to scower the internet for a solution of 16.5 or 21mm spacers to get to the required 55mm Back Focus on my SvBony 550, 122. 5. I will now have to wait weeks to find and receive a shipment, and pay duties on a cheap adapter solution that should have been in the box.. 6. at $350 USD some adapters should be included for the front and rear of the CAA since most OTA needs the 55mm back focus. Sad that after waiting weeks for the CAA package to arrive, I now can't use the CAA out of the box for a lack of adapters that is not included in such an expensive item. CAA on the shelf for lack of adapters.

Works as expected

Pretty simple device. Only complaint is the extra M48 mounting plate should have Phillips screws as opposed to the tiny Allen head screws.
