Is it possible to calibrate the display on a windows box then move it to a Mac of full 1000 nit brightness?

The ASUS ProArt Display OLED PA32UCDM 31.5" 4K HDR 240 Hz Monitor (B&H # ASPA32UCDM) can be calibrated on either OS and will maintain being calibrated regardless of the OS being used. However, the monitor cannot be set to 1000 nits all the time as the monitor will limit the period of time of use.
