The Telex/RTS HR-2R is a dual-sided headset featuring passive noise reduction by means of its large muffs as well as a dynamic noise-cancelling microphone. It provides a noise-reduction rating of 21 dB, making it suitable for isolation in moderately noisy environments. A soft moleskin-covered headband provides comfort, and the headset folds as well for ease of transport and storage. Its dynamic boom microphone offers a frequency response of 150 Hz to 8 kHz, more than suitable to hear human speech.

No. The Blackmagic Design Studio Pro Camera has a 5-pin XLR female connector, so the compatible headset will need to have a 5-pin XLR male connector. This Telex HR-2- Dual Sided Headset with Boom Mic has an XLR 4-pin female connector, so it is not compatible for use with the camera.
