I bought a cheapie spotting scope to save me steps at the shooting range. The tripod was so shaky I couldn't use the scope. So I figured I'd see what a more expensive one would do. Well it's night and day. My scope is solid and very usable with this base. I recommend it.

If you are looking for a well built quality tabletop tripod, this is the one for you. I compare this tripod to my Peak Design full size tripod. It comes with a nice carrying pouch and a swiss arca mount adapter for those of you using a regular quarter inch tripod socket.
