Ruggard EDC-LT Overview

Protect cameras, lenses, photographic and optical equipment, mobile electronics, and other valuables from excessive moisture, dirt, and dust with the EDC-80LT Electronic Dry Cabinet with Touchscreen Control from Ruggard. The cabinet's fast-acting TE Cooling Wafer regulates the interior's relative humidity from 60-35% to help prevent fungus and corrosion that can damage delicate gear and other sensitive materials. Humidity adjustments take place over a 1- to 3-hour period.

The control panel features an LED touchscreen display that provides a simple menu layout and quick access to system settings. Change humidity presets, dial in specific relative humidity levels, or illuminate the cabinet interior, all with a touch of a finger. Easily customize the display screen brightness, color, and language settings. The cabinet door has a three-digit combination lock to keep its contents safe, secure, and prevent unauthorized access to your equipment. The easy-to-use combination lock allows you to set a three-digit combination with over 900 possible combinations.

The Electronic Dry Cabinet has no noisy fan or compressor, so it provides silent operation. It is also dripless, eliminating the need for a messy water tray that requires draining. The cabinet is powered by an included multi-voltage power supply.

Moisture and Dust Protection
The cabinet's cooling wafer wicks away moisture to protect lenses and other optical devices from damage caused by fungus and corrosion. Solid glass door construction and rubber seals further prevent dirt and dust from reaching items on the inside. The generous 180° door opening range provides full access to cabinet contents.
Touchscreen LCD Control Panel
Change humidity presets, dial in specific relative humidity levels, and illuminate cabinet contents with the touch of a finger using a simple menu layout for quick access to system settings. Select display color and brightness levels, Celsius or Fahrenheit readings, and other personalized settings. Choose between English, Chinese, or Japanese language menus. Note: This cabinet does not control internal temperature.

Interior LED lighting illuminate cabinet contents. With the push of a button see what's inside before you even open the cabinet.

I wasn't sure what size to get. I purchased this one and hoped for the best; it ended up being perfect for the gear I own. To provide some context to help others decide size, I store the following gear in this case: 2 Lumix G9II's (one with battery grip) with the Panasonic 100-400 and 24-60 lenses, an older small Panasonic camcorder, a Lumix FZ1000II bridge camera, a Sony RX-10IV bridge camera, a Sony A7III with the Sony 50 G lens, and a Sony RX100VII with a carrying pouch and accessories. I have space remaining for a couple more cameras, maybe three depending on models, and several more lenses. The case is quiet, has padded slide-out shelves, and I find it nice looking.

After years of storing gear in flight cases and photography backpacks all over the house, I broke down and bought the “one cabinet to rule them all.” I can fit all of my gear in one place now, except for astro and tripods. Finally, everything has a place and can be found quickly. Makes my gear so much easier to use. I’m definitely pleased with the humidity controls and being able to keep my gear fungus-free. If I could change one thing, I’d have a timer on the lights that would automatically shut them off after fifteen minutes.

I have Nikon D3500, D500, D850, 200-500mm, 70-200mm, 24-70mm and 8 other smaller lenses. Will the 80L accommodate all of these?

The Ruggard EDC-80LT Electronic Dry Cabinet with Touchscreen Control has an Interior Dimensions of 21.1 x 17.7 x 13". You'll be able to fit Nikon D3500, D500, D850, 200-500mm, 70-200mm, 24-70mm. Not sure about the additional 8 lenes.

Is it large enough for 5-6 camera bodies and a dozen or so lenses of varying size?

The Ruggard EDC-125LT Electronic Dry Cabinet with Touchscreen Control (Black, 125L) has interior dimensions of 16.1 x 32.2 x 15.3". If the lenses you have are not large telephoto prime/zoom lenses, the 125L version should be able to accommodate the camera bodies and the lenses.

With lenses attached to camera bodies, the enclosure fits around 9 cameras and lenses. The interior of the enclosure measures 23.6 x 31.1 x 18.9" and includes 2 adjustable shelves.
