SmallRig NP-FZ100 USB-C Battery (2400mAh, Blue)

This blue NP-FZ100 USB-C Battery from SmallRig is a high-capacity 7.2 VDC, 2400mAh power source for select Sony digital cameras. This battery is fully decoded, has no pop-ups, and is the exact same size as the original camera battery.

SmallRig NP-FZ100 Kit with 2 Batteries and 2-Bay USB Charger

The NP-FZ100 Kit with 2 Batteries and 2-Bay USB Charger from SmallRig features a charger with an integrated USB-A cable, so you can connect directly to standard USB wall-plug power adapters. It also has a USB-C input port, so you can connect a power bank or other power option using an optional USB-C cable.

Each NP-FZ100 type lithium-ion battery has a 2040mAh capacity, and the dual-bay charger can simultaneous charge them both. The charger displays charge status, voltage, and current on its LCD screen.

The SmallRig NP-FZ100 USB-C Rechargeable Camera Battery (2400mAh, 7.2V, 17.28Wh) is fully compatible with the Sony a7C II Mirrorless Camera, so you should not get any error or warning when in use.

Can this be plugged in while inserted into the camera and powered from the wall or another battery?

No, the SmallRig NP-FZ100 USB-C Battery (2400mAh, Blue) is only meant to be charged via USB-C while it is outside of the camera; it cannot be charged while inserted in and powering a camera. To power the camera from an external power source, you could use a USB dummy battery, such as the Tilta Sony NP-FZ100 Dummy Battery to USB-C Power Cable (5"), B&H # TIDBSYFZUSBC, but keep in mind a dummy battery like that will not power the camera when it's not connected to a power source.
