The 4166 CORE+ Slim Omnidirectional Flex Earset Microphone from DPA puts the sound of the 4066 omnidirectional capsule and CORE+ amplifier in a slim housing and combines it with a discreet and flexible single-ear earset. It can be used when talent needs to be mic'd quickly and easily, and its lightweight, comfortable design means the person wearing the microphone will barely notice its presence, making it well suited to conference, speech, broadcast, and live-performance applications.
The ergonomic 4166 easily adjusts to fit any ear size and head shape, while at the same time, it mounts securely and is hardly visible. By rotating the boom and the ear hook, the microphone can be used on either the left or the right ear. The modular design allows the connector cable to split from the microphone boom, making it easy to swap out broken cables and/or wireless connectors quickly and easily without having to replace the entire microphone. This configuration of the mic features a long 110mm boom, the standard size for most users.

- The 4166 mic will work with a wide variety of wireless transmitters via separately available adapters. Simply choose the MicroLock adapter with the appropriate connector for your bodypack transmitter and you're good to go.
- MicroLock is fully backwards compatible with the MicroDot connection; MicroLock parts can be assembled with MicroDot parts and function as if they were of the MicroDot type. Please note that the locking function is only available if both the male and female parts are MicroLock.
