SmallRig 5338 Overview

The Arca-Type Quick Release Phone Support from SmallRig allows you to mount your smartphone onto a DJI RS 4 Mini or RS 3 Mini gimbal. An Arca-type plate secures onto the gimbal's Arca-type receiver, and the shoe adapter on the phone holder allows you to quickly mount and unmount the phone holder.

The adjustable grip jaws of the holder support all common smartphones measuring 2.5 to 3.9" wide, and it supports loads up to 1.1 lb. It can easily rotate into a vertical or horizontal position without any tools. The Phone Support can also be mounted onto a tripod head with an Arca-type receiver.

Wel built solid unit. I like that the adjustable clamp jaws for the phone rather than a spring. I have the control for how tight the phone is held.

Fantastic Mount For DJI RS4 Mini

I bought this as I sometimes use my phone on my DJI RS4 Mini. I was waiting for the DJI made phone holder to be released, but it never happened. This phone mount seems so much better than the DJI version which looks like it's made out of plastic. The SmallRig mount is made of aluminum. My favorite feature of this mount is how it can articulate and rotate in several directions. Since it can rotate the orientation of the phone, I don't have to remove the plate from the RS4 Mini to change the mount to vertical. I only have to rotate the clamp that the phone sits in. Build quality is very nice and all the joints move smooth but also have a good amount of resistance so they stay in place.
