It adds a little space for my pinky to hold. Protects the bottom of the camera and provides an arca attachment. Very nicely priced too.

This is a well-designed, light weight addition to the Z50ii. It makes it easier to grip the camera. There is a bar at the bottom for attaching the camera strap for convenient over the shoulder carry. A slide out section makes the battery door accessible. Nicely done!

I bought one for the z50ii January 28. That one is discontinued. I can't figure out the difference myself. This newer version is cheaper, but looks like it fits the same.
