Featured here in a handsome hardwood design, the Walnut Edition Intrepid 4 x 5 View Camera is a compact and lightweight 4 x 5" large format view camera for photographers of all skill levels. It offers a wide range of camera movements and support for working with a broad array of lenses with a standard Copal shutter. In its base configuration, the camera's removable bellows provide 11.8" of total extension to support working with long focal length lenses up to 300mm, and with optional recessed lens board lenses as wide as 75mm. Full front movements are available as well as rear base tilt, and the rear standard rotates 360° for horizontal and vertical shooting. The aluminum base and rear-controlled linear focus mechanism ensure both stability and sharp focus.
The camera back has a universal Graflok back to support the use of various film holders, including the Lomography Instax Wide back. A bright, ground glass is provided and features a half-inch grid, while an additional Fresnel is available separately for use with ultra-wide-angle lenses.
