The cube-sized Proton 4K Mini Broadcast Camera supports HDR and is equipped with 12-bit sensor technology and high sensitivity. The versatile camera captures vibrant images even in low light, boasting an ultrawide angle of up to 124° when used with an optional 2.2mm lens. Its compact housing features a total of eight 2.5mm holes for individual mounting options, as well as a bracket that can be attached to the top or bottom of the camera to provide an additional 1/4"-20 thread for tripod mounting or another type of stand or truss.
The distortion-free 3.2mm f/2.3 lens comes already mounted on the camera's M12/S lens mount, but it can be swapped with other optional lenses. The camera supports resolutions up to UHD 4K60 with optional downscaling to 1080p60, RS-485 control, and a rolling shutter. A 6' cable with BNC/SDI connectivity is included with the camera. There are status LEDs on the front and rear of the camera, as well as an integrated tally light.
