Xcellon PDL-100 Reviews
Works well!
Bought this to power a LUMIX GH7 in a studio environment. This costs about a third of the price of the Panasonic-branded USB-C AC Adapter and works as expected to run camera while simultaneously charging the battery in-camera during operation. It also charges the battery when camera power is off.
Excellent charger. USBC. My favorite kind.
The Xcellon PDL-100 is capable of powering a variety of devices that support USB-C. I tested it with several devices, starting with the MacBook Air. Charging from 54% to 100% took just 28 minutes. I was pleased to see that this charger performed just as well as the original Apple charger. I could actually watch the battery percentage increase by 1% every 45 seconds on the laptop screen. During that time, the MacBook Air drew about 42 watts of power. With a completely drained battery, it would likely draw more—around 60 watts. On the iPhone 16 Pro Max, I experienced the same fast charging performance. One thing I also noticed is that, initially, when plugged in, it takes just a few minutes for the PD (Power Delivery) to ramp up and begin delivering more current. After that, charging speeds accelerate quickly, which is a nice feature. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this charger. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review].
