The StudioVision 4K HDMI Monitor with HDR from Elvid is a portable 28" monitor with HDR support that offers the ultimate in ultra-high-definition cinematic displays for studio and location. SD, HD, and 4K video signals from a wide variety of sources can be connected using the available inputs. This monitor supports NTSC/PAL, HD, and 4K, and it's designed with inputs for viewing 3G-SDI, HDMI, VGA, and DVI signals. Multiple signals can be displayed simultaneously using the monitor's split-screen function that provides left/right, top/bottom, quad, and picture-in-picture splits. The STV-280-4KHDR monitor puts a wealth of tools at your fingertips. Four user-assignable function buttons provide shortcuts to your most frequently used menus. The on-screen menu makes it easy to fine-tune the image, and an intuitive menu structure allows you to go deep into the many built-in features. The monitor runs on AC power or a separately available V-mount battery. It comes enclosed in a travel case for protection during storage and transport. In the studio or for A/V installations, the monitor can be mounted using VESA hardware or placed atop a desk with the included feet.

UHD 4K Resolution
The STV-280-4KHDR boasts a native resolution of 3840 x 2160. With Ultra High Definition 4K, you'll experience lifelike images with superb sharpness, detail, and clarity.
HDR Support
High dynamic range (HDR) support offers a wider range of colors, punchier details, more contrast, and defined highlights when viewing HDR content. HRD10 support delivers a picture that's incredibly realistic and eye-catching.
10-Bit Display
The 10-bit IPS LCD offers a huge color gamut of over a billion colors. And with thin-film transistor (TFT) technology, this monitor will deliver sharp images with intense and accurate color.
HDMI Input
The StudioVision STV-280-4KHDR is equipped with an HDMI input for use as a wired high-definition video monitor, so it can be connected to an HD video camera, DSLR, or other digital cameras with HDMI ports.
Pixel-to-Pixel Mode
Pixel-to-pixel mode is another feature the StudioVision STV-280-4KHDR offers for focusing accuracy. When activated, the monitor will display an incoming video signal in its native resolution with 1:1 pixel mapping, without any scaling or processing.
Broadcast-Specific Features
Broadcast-specific features include a center marker and an on-screen safety frame overlay that can be set to 80, 85, 90, 93, or 96% of the screen size.
Check Field and Peaking Modes
The Check Field mode helps the monitor to be accurately calibrated by displaying only red, green, or blue colors on-screen. The peaking filter can be used to add an outline to any part of the image that's in focus when the focus needs to be fine-tuned.
Freeze Input
The freeze input option allows you to freeze the current on-screen image to analyze your frame as a still picture.
Display-Specific Functions
The display menu offers a rotate option that allows the picture to be adjusted depending on the orientation of the monitor. The display menu also provides the option of left/right, top/bottom, 4-way, and picture-in-picture screen splits.
DE-15 Tally
The monitor's DE-15 tally connector is compatible with standard tally systems. When operating in split-screen mode, the monitor puts a tally display border around the active signal, making it ideal for broadcast applications.
Accessible Menus
Get instant access to all the monitor menus with the press of the menu button. Navigating through the menu selections is just as simple, making it easy to change settings without interrupting your shoot.
Programmable Function Buttons
Four programmable function buttons on the front panel make it possible to create custom shortcuts to the most frequently used menus. This allows broadcast-specific functions to be quickly accessed, as well as the features you need to fine-tune your image.
Audio Monitoring
Monitor your incoming audio signal from the built-in speakers or the 3.5mm headphone jack. The monitor's RCA audio inputs allow the sound to be monitored from the video source or from a different source, such as a mobile device or a stereo.
Includes Sun Hood
The included sun hood quickly attaches to the touch-connect strips on the flight case to block out stray light and prevent glare. It's indispensable when shooting outdoors or in other brightly lit environments.

This is an incredible monitor. I have been using this Elvid StudioVision 28 inch 4K HDR monitor both in the studio and on location, and the picture quality is one of the first things that stands out. In my opinion, the image is sharp, detailed, and very helpful when judging and setting up shots. The screen size makes a huge difference, especially when multiple people need to view the image at the same time. Colors look rich and clean, and the contrast gives the image a nice sense of depth without feeling overprocessed. Another big plus is how practical this monitor is to work with. Having it fully enclosed in a travel case makes transporting and storing a large display far less stressful. It feels protected and well thought out for real world use. I love that. The included sun hood is also a great addition and makes a noticeable difference when working in brighter environments or near windows. It attaches easily and feels like a thoughtful, practical addition rather than an afterthought. Power flexibility is another strong point. Having the option to run it on V-mount batteries or AC power makes it extremely flexible. On location, battery power is a huge plus, and in the studio, it is just as easy to plug it in and leave it running all day. I also appreciate the ability to display multiple signals at once. The split screen options are incredibly useful, whether you are comparing feeds, monitoring multiple cameras, or keeping an eye on different sources at the same time. Being able to switch between left and right, top and bottom, quad view, or picture in picture makes this monitor feel very flexible for live production, switching environments, or more complex setups. It saves time and space since you do not need multiple monitors to see everything you need. It even has a "freeze input option" which allows you to freeze the current on-screen image to analyze your frame as a still picture. That's a cool addition. Overall, this monitor has a great image, feels well built, dependable, and designed with real production use in mind. From the sturdy case to the flexible power options and helpful accessories, it has proven to be a reliable monitoring solution that works just as well on set as it does back at the studio.
