Saramonic DK6G Overview

Designed for use with popular wireless transmitters, portable audio recorders, and mixer adapters, the Saramonic DK6G is a thin, omnidirectional headset microphone equipped with a gold-plated 3.5mm TRS connector, making it compatible with devices from Saramonic, DJI, Rode, Hollyland, SmallRig, Azden, Deity, Senal, BOYA, and more.

Thanks to the DK6G's ultrathin profile and dual-ear wearing style, it is both visually unobtrusive and secure. Its omnidirectional polar pattern picks up sound from all directions, allowing it to capture speech consistently regardless of the subject's movement. The mic boom arm is adjustable to accommodate a variety of head sizes and shapes.

The DK6G boasts a sweat-, makeup-, and dust-proof design to provide reliable operation in challenging conditions. It includes two color-matched windscreens and a storage case for safe and convenient transport of the mic and its accessories.

Sounds reasonable, but the build materials are meh. Wasent near as comfortable or easily adjustable as previous mics I have used. Baught on sale for ~40usd. I havent tested it but I bet you could find a knock off for ceaper thats sounds reasonably as good.

This product was good value. It's a little awkward for folks with smaller heads.

is it compatible with dji mic 3?
Asked by: Jeffrey
No, the Saramonic DK6G Slimline Omnidirectional Headset Microphone for Select 2.4 GHz Transmitters (3.5mm TRS Connector) is not compatible for use with the DJI Mic 3 2-Person Compact Wireless Microphone System/Recorder for Camera & Smartphone, as the transmitters for the DJI Mic 3 do not have an input for an external microphone. However, the transmitters for the original DJI Mic and DJI Mic 2 Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder do have an input for an external microphone and are compatible with the Saramonic DK6G, as well as other similarly terminated headset- and lavalier-style microphones.

Is this a Dynamic mic or does it require phantom power to operate?
Asked by: Scott
This is a condenser microphone that requires 3 to 5 V of plug-in power. Many wireless microphone systems will provide this plug-in power, but they need to be wired for either standard TRS or Sennheiser 3.5mm pin-out. There are also a lot of portable mixers and recorders that also provide plug-in power, check with your user manual to be sure. You can also use a XLR adapter that converts phantom power to plug in power.
