This turntable is made to operate with 120 VAC, 60 Hz power only. For uses with 220 volt power, I would recommend using it with a step-down transformer, such as the Watson VCG-SD85 85 Watt VStep-Down International Voltage Transformer, B&H # WAVCGSD85.

The AT-LP60XBT is powered on after pressing the "Start" Button to initialize the record playback. The turntable powers off automatically after the record is finished or by pressing the "Stop" button.

No. Speakers still need an amplifier. Turntable outputs plug into amplifier inputs via RCA plugs.
