DwarfLab Dwarf 3 Reviews

Great little portable scope

After weeks of research of several models I decided on the Dwarf 3. Its compact, the imaging barrel is secured on each end making it more secure and precise in my mind. It’s a bit more complicated than some other brands but I like the freedom to tweak settings as I get better. It allows me to go to the next level. My first two tries were just okay but going back in forth with the manual I picked it up quickly and am now taking galaxy and nebula photos I never thought possible in my back yard. I could go into every feature but I would run out of room here but this is an excellent astrophotography unit, especially for the price. Clean compact and produces what it promises. Of course buying it through B&H was a no brainer. They helped me decide with all the information provided on their site. Placing an order is easy, price is the best, they had it in stock and it arrived the next day. Great store, great product.

Surprisingly Great

I've now had for nearly a year. I like in the middle of Phoenix, hardly dark skies, yet I get GREAT images. I may have to shoot longer, but the results are fantastic. For the price it's absolutely amazing. And the size most convenient. The attached images are compressed .JPG images the raw output files are really much better than what I can post here. If you trying to decide, don't hesitate. But you will need to get a external back up device (I recommend a 4TB SSD drive), the 110GB available when you get it will fill up, and you'll want to keep everything that you've taken (as it can be combined with new capture sessions to further improve your results).
