This Is A Well Built Eyepiece. Small And Light However, Mostly Useless For Me As It Has No Diopter Adjustment To Fine Tune Focus.

Apparently not. And unless there is a way to change this, the viewfinder is essentially unusable.

Is it the field of view for a 28mm mounted to APSC or is it a 28mm in 35mm equivalent field of view (so an 18mm lens)
Asked by: Andy
The SmallRig 28mm External Optical Viewfinder provides a view equal to a 28mm lens on a full-frame camera. So, if you are using an APS-C camera, it would match an 18mm lens.

How can this show the camera's framing?

How can this show the camera's framing?
Asked by: Greg
The SmallRig 28mm External Optical Viewfinder shows the camera's framing by providing a dedicated optical window that approximates the field of view of a 28mm lens on an APS-C sensor camera. It’s a passive optical device, meaning it doesn’t connect to the camera electronically. It doesn’t show exposure, focus, or other settings—just the framing.
