NextComputing EXTI-5245K-02 Overview

Cut down video, photo, and 3D rendering times with the Edge XTI Tower Desktop Workstation from NextComputing. Built primarily for creative professionals, this system features an Intel Core Ultra 5 245K 14-Core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card.

There is also 64GB of DDR5-6400 memory, upgradeable to 192GB, and a 2TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD that helps you to smoothly load and multitask demanding applications. Connect to compatible high-speed networks with Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) support and through the 2.5 Gb/s Ethernet port. A Thunderbolt 4 port supports up to 40 Gb/s devices and 8K monitors. It is accompanied a 10 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port that works with up to 10 Gb/s devices. There are also two 5 Gb/s compatible USB-A ports available alongside four USB-A 2.0 ports that may be used with peripherals such as the included wireless keyboard and mouse. Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled.

Intel Ultra Performance
The Intel Core Ultra 5 245K processor powers applications with six Performance cores while the eight Efficient cores handle background tasks. This processor has a 5.2 GHz Max Turbo frequency. An integrated NPU accelerates AI workloads with 13 trillion operations per second (TOPS).
NVIDIA RTX 50 Series
Based on the Blackwell architecture, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card features 12GB of GDDR7 VRAM, accelerating graphical and rendering performance while delivering advanced features such as real-time ray tracing and AI. With support for the AV1 codec, this GPU can accelerate rendering performance with supported applications. The rear panel includes three DisplayPort 2.1 connectors and one HDMI 2.1 port.
Expandable Storage
A total of four M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD slots are included, allowing you to grow your storage for large, complex projects.
Windows 11 Pro
Microsoft simplified the design and user experience with Windows 11. It has a modern, clean design with a new Start Menu position. Snap Layouts, Groups, and Desktops allow you to multitask with ease. Microsoft has also integrated some of their apps, such as Microsoft Teams. The redesigned Microsoft Store makes it easier to look for supported apps. The Pro version of Windows 11 includes all the features that Windows 11 Home offers plus many designed specifically for business users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access.
