NextComputing EXTI-5285K-02 Overview

Cut down video, photo, and 3D rendering times with the Edge XTI Tower Desktop Workstation from NextComputing. Built primarily for creative professionals, this system features an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K 24-Core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card.

There is also 64GB of DDR5-6400 memory, upgradeable to 256GB, and a 2TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD that helps you to smoothly load and multitask demanding applications. Connect to compatible high-speed networks with Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) support and through the 10 and 2.5 Gb/s Ethernet ports. Dual Thunderbolt 5 ports support up to 80 Gb/s devices and 8K monitors. They are accompanied by a 20 Gb/s USB4 port and six USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports that work with up to 10 Gb/s devices. There is also one USB-A 2.0 port available for peripherals such as the included wireless mouse and keyboard receiver. Windows 11 Pro is preinstalled.

Intel Ultra Performance
The Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor powers applications with eight Performance cores while the 16 Efficient cores handle background tasks. This processor has a 5.6 GHz Turbo Boost Max 3.0 frequency. An integrated NPU accelerates AI workloads with 13 trillion operations per second (TOPS).
NVIDIA RTX 50 Series
Based on the Blackwell architecture, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card features 16GB of GDDR7 VRAM, accelerating graphical and rendering performance while delivering advanced features such as real-time ray tracing and AI. With support for the AV1 codec, this GPU can accelerate rendering performance with supported applications. The rear panel includes three DisplayPort 2.1 connectors and one HDMI 2.1 port.
Expandable Storage
A total of five M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD slots are included, allowing you to grow your storage for large, complex projects.
Windows 11 Pro
Microsoft simplified the design and user experience with Windows 11. It has a modern, clean design with a new Start Menu position. Snap Layouts, Groups, and Desktops allow you to multitask with ease. Microsoft has also integrated some of their apps, such as Microsoft Teams. The redesigned Microsoft Store makes it easier to look for supported apps. The Pro version of Windows 11 includes all the features that Windows 11 Home offers plus many designed specifically for business users, including Hyper-V virtualization, BitLocker disk encryption, and remote desktop access.
