Acting as the central hub for both onsite reinforcement and online participation, it synchronizes microphone activity, camera presets, audio mixing, and USB AV bridging to ensure that remote attendees experience the room as naturally as those physically present.

Designed for effortless integration with Panasonic’s ceiling array microphones, DECT wireless systems, and PTZ cameras, the WR-AV800 brings together sophisticated DSP, intelligent camera control, and flexible Dante networking to create an operator-free, immersive AV experience.

Comprehensive Audio and Video Integration
At the heart of the WR-AV800 is a 20 × 20 digital audio mixer supported by advanced DSP, a fully assignable routing matrix, and an optional WR-PC200A Auto-Echo Cancellation card (adding up to eight channels of AEC, DNR, and AGC). The processor merges audio and video sources via its built-in AV Bridge, enabling unified USB output for hybrid conferencing applications.

The processor supports:

  • Up to four WX-AM800 Array Ceiling Microphones
  • Up to 48 Panasonic 1.9 GHz DECT wireless microphones
  • Up to eight PTZ cameras, including Panasonic and VISCA-compatible models

This multi-source capacity allows for natural, location-based camera switching, reinforcing communication clarity for remote participants.

Intelligent Camera Coordination
The WR-AV800 elevates hybrid meetings by linking camera presets to detected speaker positions. Using input from multiple ceiling array microphones or wireless receivers, the processor automatically triggers the appropriate camera view. In multi-camera systems, it also issues control commands to an external video switcher, ensuring smooth transitions that mirror the in-room experience.
Dante-Enabled Audio-over-IP
Equipped with 16-channel Dante input and 16-channel Dante output, the WR-AV800 integrates cleanly into modern audio networks while reducing installation and maintenance costs. In addition to Dante, the unit provides stereo analog I/O via unbalanced terminals for legacy integration or simple playback/record workflows.
Optimized for Ceiling Microphone Reinforcement
When paired with Panasonic's WX-AM800P ceiling array microphones (sold separately), the WR-AV800 offers tools tailored to sound reinforcement, including feedback suppression based on real-time beam position. This ensures clear, intelligible audio throughout the room even in acoustically challenging spaces.
Centralized Configuration and Control
All AV Processor settings—including wireless systems, ceiling arrays, and connected Panasonic PTZ cameras—are managed through MicCC (Microphone System Configuration Center) software. Users can also access each camera’s Web GUI directly from the software environment.

A dedicated control LAN terminal provides compatibility with third-party touch panels and control systems, enabling simple room automation and integration into broader AV ecosystems.
