Key Features
  • Allows for Quick Separation from Camera
  • Neck, Shoulder, or Crossbody Strap
  • 32.6 to 57.1" Adjustable Length
  • Comfortable Nylon and Leather Webbing
This Leash Camera Strap from Peak Design has anchor links so you can quickly and easily detach a connected camera to move it to a tripod or connect another camera to the strap. Each anchor link supports up to 200 pounds and creates a durable, snap-in or snap-out connection point to the strap eyelet on a wide variety of cameras. The strap is 0.8" wide and has an adjustable 32.6 to 57.1" length. Integrated loops allow you to quickly adjust the length, and the twist-resistant nylon and leather construction is ideal for wearing around your neck, over your shoulder, or crossbody style. Comfortable for right- or left-handed users, it can be draped from one shoulder to the opposing hip for easy access on photo walks. When used along with an anchor link, the included anchor mount creates a connection point using the camera's 1/4"-20 bottom accessory thread. Attach the leash along the bottom accessory thread and use one strap eyelet instead of two to position your camera face forward against your hip to reduce the time needed to raise it to your eye and capture the shot.

Peak Design Leash Strap Reviews

The best!

These are the best camera straps I’ve found in my over 50 years as a photographer. They are comfortable and easily adjusted. Best if all, they come off quickly for those times I don’t need a strap and it allows me to use the same strap on a different body.

Decent strap

It's a decent camera strap. Their bigger straps are horribly uncomfortable, so this is about as good as it gets from this company. The latch system used to be unique, but other companies have them now and there are more comfortable options out there.

Is the base plate compatible with the Peak Designs Capture Clip?
Asked by: Scott
No, the Peak Design Anchor Mount included with the Peak Design Leash Camera Strap is not compatible for use with the mount on the Peak Design Capture Camera Clip v3. Peak Design states that the anchor mount is only designed to be used if you are not using Capture or a tripod; the anchor mount is not Arca-compatible.
