Evno Microphone Systems SPX1-Air Overview

The Evno SPX1-Air pairs the purpose-built SPX1 soprano saxophone microphone with the compact Evno Air wireless system to deliver natural sound and reliable performance in any setting. Designed and handcrafted in the USA, the SPX1-Air offers a lightweight, bell-mounted solution with maximum gain before feedback—ideal for soloists, horn sections, or high-volume live environments.

SPX1 Microphone for Soprano Saxophone
Engineered specifically for soprano saxophone, the SPX1 microphone delivers a clear, accurate capture of your instrument’s voice using a single capsule positioned over the bell. Its Stay-Flex gooseneck allows precise placement while accommodating hand and key movement, and the vented aluminum body is suspended with a 7-point O-ring system for vibration isolation and full frequency response. The microphone connects via a 3-pin mini-XLR and supports both wired and wireless configurations.

The SPX1 can also be repositioned for use on alto, tenor, or baritone saxophone using the included SX-CL spring-loaded clamp. This makes it a versatile option for players who double on multiple horns.

SX-CL Bell Clamp
The SX-CL clamp provides a stable, padded mounting system for the SPX1 microphone. Its spring-loaded design allows fast attachment and removal, while an additional reinforcement screw ensures security during high-energy performances. The clamp is compatible with Evno SX-series microphones for other saxophones.
Evno Air Wireless System
Compact and portable, the Evno Air receiver delivers high-quality wireless audio with a small footprint and folding antennas. It includes a 1/4" output for direct connection to mixers or D.I. boxes. Choose between standard AC power via the included 9V adapter or 4 hours of mobile operation with 2 AA batteries—perfect for travel, pedalboards, or remote venues. This version is designed for use in the U.S., Canada, and Brazil and operates in the 900 to 928 MHz UHF spectrum. The Evno A1 is a beltpack-free clip-on transmitter that attaches directly to the SPX1 microphone. Designed for freedom of movement and clean signal transmission, it integrates seamlessly with the Evno Air system.
