Evno Microphone Systems SPX1-W1 Overview

The Evno SPX1-W1 pairs the purpose-built SPX1 soprano saxophone microphone with the Evno's flagship W1 wireless system to deliver natural sound and reliable performance in any setting. Designed and handcrafted in the USA, the SPX1-W1 offers a lightweight, bell-mounted solution with maximum gain before feedback—ideal for soloists, horn sections, or high-volume live environments.

SPX1 Microphone for Soprano Saxophone
Engineered specifically for soprano saxophone, the SPX1 microphone delivers a clear, accurate capture of your instrument’s voice using a single capsule positioned over the bell. Its 5.5" Flex-Stay gooseneck allows precise placement while accommodating hand and key movement, and the vented aluminum body is suspended with a 7-point O-ring system for vibration isolation and full-frequency response. The microphone connects via a 3-pin mini-XLR and supports wireless configurations with the included A1 transmitter or wired setups with the separately available PS95 phantom power adapter.

The SPX1 can also be repositioned for use on alto, tenor, or baritone saxophone using the included SX-CL spring-loaded clamp. This makes it a versatile option for players who double on multiple horns.

SX-CL Bell Clamp
The SX-CL clamp provides a stable, padded mounting system for the SPX1 microphone. Its spring-loaded design allows fast attachment and removal, while an additional reinforcement screw ensures security during high-energy performances. The clamp is compatible with Evno SX-series microphones for other saxophones.
Flagship Wireless Performance with True Diversity
At the heart of the SPX1-W1 is the Evno W1 True-Diversity System, providing maximum wireless stability and long-range performance up to 492 feet. Using two antennas and dual receivers, the system automatically selects the strongest signal for seamless audio without dropouts. Ideal for professional musicians and demanding stage environments, the W1 ensures your instrument sounds natural and full-range across any performance scenario.
Built for Professional Rigs
The W1 receiver features a metal chassis with XLR and 1/4" outputs and comes rack-mountable with included rack kit and extension cables. Antennas can be front-mounted or remotely mounted via BNC connectors, making it easy to integrate into any rack setup. The A1 transmitter clips directly to the microphone setup for a beltpack-free, wire-free playing experience. A total of 99 selectable frequencies allow multiple systems to run simultaneously without interference, with quick pairing via IR sync.
