Can this be used with a teleprompter iOS app showing on the monitor?
Asked by: David
The SmallRig Wireless Video Phone Monitor, B&H # SMWVPMV2, will essentially mirror your iPhone; as long as you have the teleprompter app open on your iOS device, it will be displayed on the monitor. Keep in mind that there is a noticeable delay, and this could be a problem with time-sensitive applications such as using it as a teleprompter—it is primarily designed to help with framing when shooting photos or videos.

The specs say HD Synchronization up to 32.8 ft. What about UHD, does that differ? Is there any lag. Thank you
Asked by: Jase
The SmallRig Wireless Video Phone Monitor will support video transmission over the same distance no matter the format being shot in by the phone. It is however important to note that when shooting in 4K or higher resolutions using the iPhone camera, shooting in frame rates above 24 fps may result in some lag in transmission. When shooting in 4K when using the Blackmagic Camera App, there should be no noticeable additional transmission lag between frame rates.
