Transmit up to four analog audio signals over Cat 5e/6 cable up to 3250' with this MuxLab Quad Audio Balun + Audio Wall Plate Balun Kit put together by B&H. The kit includes a quad audio balun unit and a Decora-style quad audio wall plate balun for analog audio routing in home or commercial A/V systems.
The MuxLab 500033 Quad Audio Balun allows transmission of up to 4 analog line audio signals in a point-to-point configuration using a Cat5E/6 UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cable, eliminating up to 4 coax audio cables. It transmits analog audio up to 3250' (1km).
The balun is used in pairs or in conjunction with other MuxLab analog audio baluns such as the 500019. Providing hassle-free cabling solution, the audio balun connects to DVD players, audio receivers, audio amplifiers and audio mixers, audio matrix switchers, and other unbalanced line-level audio equipment.
Made of fire retardant plastic, the compact balun measures 2.40 x 2.25 x 1.00" (6.10 x 5.72 x 2.54 cm) and features a bandwidth of 20 Hz to 20 KHz for high fidelity.
Supporting unbalanced line-level analog audio, the 500033 Quad Audio Balun can be used in custom commercial and home audio systems, intercom systems, rental and staging systems, and audio-video conferencing systems.
The MuxLab Quad Audio Wall Plate Balun (US) allows you to simultaneously transmit up to 4 analog line audio signals via a single UTP (unshielded twisted pair) cable in a point-to-point configuration. The use of a single cost-efficient CAT 5e/6 cable eliminates the need for 4 coaxial audio cables, allowing for a cost-efficient solution. This balun is capable of transmitting composite video signals up to a distance of 3250’ (990.6 m) and component video signals up to a distance of 1000’ (305 m).
Offering bandwidth support from 20 Hz to 20 KHz, the Quad Audio Wall Balun ensures a high-fidelity sound output. When used in conjunction with other MuxLab Baluns, the Quad Video Balun simplifies video routing and is suitable for use in commercial and home A/V systems.
