Record up to 30 hours on the mono microphone. The unit's battery has up to 60 days of standby. Store your recordings on the 64GB internal memory. When used in conjunction with the PLAUD app for Andoid and iOS, additional features like summary templates, AI-powered transcription up to 300 hours of recording, and unlimited cloud storage.

Please note, advanced features of the PLAUD app such as speaker labels, custom summary templates, and ChatGPT and Claude 3.5 integration require a paid subscription, available through the application.

Device Works Great BUT LOOK OUT FOR THE MONTHLY FEE!!!!!!

Where this product falls flat is in its business model. To unlock the real selling point—the AI transcription and summarization—you’re hit with a subscription wall. The so-called “Starter Plan” gives you 300 minutes a month, which sounds nice until you realize how quickly that gets eaten up. After that, you’re forced to pay $99 per year for just 1200 minutes per month, or $239.99 annually for unlimited use. For a product that already isn’t cheap to buy outright, these fees feel excessive and unnecessary. It’s frustrating because the recorder itself is excellent, but the company has essentially locked its best features behind an overpriced subscription. I would gladly pay a one-time fee for the AI functionality, but the ongoing costs make this a tough recommendation for anyone who wants full access without feeling nickel-and-dimed. Great hardware, but the subscription model is disappointing and takes away from what could otherwise be a fantastic all-in-one tool.
