I think I've sold 4 or 5 of these to friends since I started using my PLAUD. I can't say enough good things about it when I talk to friends, that they go out and buy one too. For business meetings, it's a real game-changer. No more pen-and-paper scrambling to catch the right notes and pay attention at the same time; this thing takes care of that for you, removing all the blah blah blah to give you relevant notes and action items from the call. It's amazingly accurate. Putting the obvious business stuff aside, taking my 84-year-old dad to a doctor's appointment makes it completely invaluable. I would recommend it to anyone with one caveat: you need to subscribe to unlimited service, which is an additional monthly fee. If you are serious about using it, the free 300 minutes per month go fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using Plaud AI Note for a few weeks now, mainly for work meetings and phone calls, and overall I’m pretty impressed. What I like: The biggest plus is how easy it is to record and then get a transcript and summary without doing anything extra. I just press the button, and later the app gives me a clean transcript with highlights and a short summary. This has saved me a lot of time compared to typing notes myself. The summaries are good for quick reviews, and the speaker labels are helpful in meetings. The device itself is slim, lightweight, and easy to carry or attach to my phone. What I don’t like: The main downside is the cost. You pay for the hardware, and then there’s a subscription if you want full transcription and AI features. Also, while the summaries are useful, they can sometimes feel a bit basic — I still need to skim the transcript for details. I’ve also had one long recording take a while to sync, which made me a little nervous. Overall experience: Plaud AI Note feels like a solid productivity tool, especially if you attend lots of meetings, interviews, or calls and want everything documented automatically. It’s not perfect, and it’s probably overkill for casual use, but for professionals who value time and organization, it’s definitely useful. Would I recommend it? Yes — but mainly for people who record conversations often and don’t mind paying for a subscription.

Yes, when placed in the included MagSafe case and attached to your separately available iPhone 12 or later, the PLAUD AI NOTE Voice Recorder with MagSafe Case (Black) records phone calls. The iPhone would not have to be on speaker.
