My first impressions were amazing, but everything changed when the light suddenly stopped working after just two weeks of use. I took it to a repair shop and was told that the flashlight's power system had burned out. The repair cost was almost as much as buying a brand-new unit. The quality of the gobos is terrible. They are too thin, fragile, and very difficult to mount onto the rubber holder. They don't stay in place properly, keep falling out, and are generally frustrating to work with. I absolutely love SmallRig as a brand. I own many of their products and have always been impressed by their quality, but in my opinion, this is the worst product they have ever made. I genuinely regret buying it. I would recommend investing in a proper gobo projector, or at least one of the available alternatives. If you're on a very tight budget and just want something to get started with, then this product might still be worth considering. However, I would strongly suggest looking at other brands first. I bought a similar light from another manufacturer for a friend, and it is still working flawlessly. I chose the SmallRig version because I believed their quality would be superior, as it usually is. Unfortunately, this product was a major disappointment.
