The green VB50 Mini V-Mount Battery from SmallRig is an ultracompact, lightweight 50Wh battery that can support up to a 12A draw at a nominal 14.8V. This travel-friendly battery is suitable for powering handheld cameras, drones, and gimbals.

The VB50 provides multiple accessory ports, including one 14.8V D-Tap output, one 8 VDC barrel output, one 12 VDC barrel output, one USB-C output, and one USB-A output for powering various accessories, cameras, or mobile devices. The battery can be charged using a standard V-mount charger, an optional D-Tap charger, or by using the USB-C input/output with a 45W PD fast charger. A built-in OLED display shows the remaining battery capacity and status.

I have one of these as a back up for my run and gun fx3 rig for sports and unfortunately, somehow with the combination of the 2 products, the battery seems to be lightweight that it easily pops out of its v-mount. I've tested with other heavier batteries and they've all worked, all locked into place with no give after some resistance was given. Good thing these have usb ports, as I'll just use this to charge my laptop on the go or something else

Will this power a Canon C50 via USB-C? There’s not a lot of official info on the C50 power draw but some claim it has to be 65w PD. This only does 45 but wondering if anyone has real world experience with it.

Yes, the SmallRig VB50 Mini V-Mount Battery (50Wh, Black) can power the Canon EOS C50 Full-Frame Cinema Camera (Canon RF) but they recommend using upwards of 65W compared to the max 45W for stable recording without issues in higher quality recording.
