When compared to your phone's rear camera system, the selfie camera has the huge advantage of being able to frame shots using the phone's display. The monitor in this kit acts as that screen, mirroring your phone's cameras and letting you finally take advantage of the more powerful rear lenses. Simply mount the included phone clamp on an optional tripod via its standard 1/4"-20 connection and attach the monitor. If you want to shoot handheld without a tripod, the monitor can magnetically attach to the back of compatible phones and cases.
